FAQs

Where do you stand on social issues and global events?

I stand firmly with the Black Lives Matter movement and the LGBTQ+ community. I acknowledge the white privilege that I have and I am constantly working to dismantle white supremacy in our society through learning and action. I regularly donate pattern sales to BIPOC run organizations that continue this work and I’m always looking to support BIPOC run fiber businesses through my social channels and collaborations. I acknowledge that my model representation is limited and I’m working through the best way to diversify my pattern photos without exploiting BIPOC models.

I also continue to work toward size inclusivity in all of my patterns. Some of my older patterns are more limited in size. If you find a pattern that does not work for your body size or shape, please reach out and let me know. I’m always willing to expand size ranges on demand and I’m working toward going back through all patterns to make sure they are appropriately inclusive.

I can always do more.

Can I sell finished goods from your patterns?

Thank you for your interest! We do sell a license for patterns if you would like to hand produce any items from my patterns. Please reach out for pricing details via the Contact page on this website. Prices vary depending on quantity sold per year.

We reserve the right to contest, report and remove any unauthorized reproductions of our designs and will work through legal channels if these are brought to our attention.

If you knit one of my designs and simply want to destash the garment, feel free to do so.

Can I share your digital pattern with a friend?

My patterns can only be purchased and distributed through my ravelry page, this website and local yarn shops. Digital copies are also included in some authorized kits through dyers.

Please do not share, distribute or upload my digital patterns without consent. We work very hard on these patterns and invest a lot of time and money into creating them.

My pattern downloaded as a zipped file. How to I open it?

Some patterns have multiple files for multiple languages, sizes or for a chart. These must be zipped to be sold on my website.

For guides on how to open a zip file, please check out this resource.

I am a dyer and I would love to work with you on a design featuring my yarn! How does this work?

I love working with indie dyers and yarn brands! Please reach out via the Contact page or send me a DM on Instagram. I work on a fairly advanced schedule, so unfortunately I’m booked through November/December 2020, but I’m always open to discussing future collaborations.
