MATERIALS
Size US 1 Needles - 9” circulars
Size US 1 Needles - 30” circulars
400-500 yds of fingering weight yarn (100-120g)
Darning Needle
Stitch markers
Scissors
Cable needle or a size US 3 DPN
Note: I love knitting socks on 9” circulars. I find them quick and they tend to give me the best results when working in a pattern. This pattern can be easily translated to magic loop or DPN’s if you prefer.
YARN RECOMMENDATIONS
Sample knit with Sew Happy Jane
All American Sock 100g in “Sly Fox”
This pattern looks great in a tonal, solid, speckle or tweed. The sample yarn is a nice structured american wool sock base with great stitch definition. This would also be a great sock in a BFL or non superwash sock base.
